City Launches New Year-Round Campaign Aimed to Promote Safe, Welcoming Virginia Beach
The City of Virginia Beach is kicking off a new campaign designed to set a positive tone for the summer season and beyond.Â
Good Vibes Only: Virginia Beach campaign aims to promote a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment.Â
The campaign message is simple: Virginia Beach is open to good energy, not bad behavior.Â
Developed in partnership with the City’s Communications Office, Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Virginia Beach Police Department, the campaign features visuals, digital signage, social media messaging and a public service announcement video.Â
Good Vibes Only asks everyone to:Â
- Be kind and respectful to othersÂ
- Follow city safety guidelinesÂ
- Keep music and noise at reasonable levelsÂ
- Dispose of trash properlyÂ
- Report concerns responsiblyÂ
Virginia Beach remains a premier destination for families, friends and fun. Â
The City will also share timely updates and safety information via VBAlert, the City’s emergency alert and warning system, and official City of Virginia Beach social media channels. Find helpful resources, including parking options by using the VB Go app, and use Waze to navigate the area or check out traffic.Â
To help amplify the campaign message, community business partners are encouraged to download a free campaign toolkit, subscribe to the City’s tourism industry newsletter and join the partner pipeline.Â
